One of the residents of our shelter, together with her three young children, is starting a new chapter after three years of support from the Foundation and living at the shelter. Starting this week, she is beginning an independent life in Gdańsk (north of Poland), with a new job and a new home.
Difficult Decisions: Returns
Many people are being forced to return to Ukraine, where the war is still ongoing, due to reduced funding for accommodation centers. Others have already returned home, yet the shelling and destruction continue, and the danger only grows greater. Some would like to come back to Poland, but can we guarantee that funding for refugee accommodation centers will still be available?
