The Pastoral Family Care Foundation provides support in the form of accommodation, meals, and comprehensive assistance to people in greatest need, with a particular focus on migrants and refugees.

The Foundation operates a Collective Accommodation Centre (OZZ), which provides free accommodation and meals to individuals who qualify for the government support programme under the Act of 23 January 2026 on the Termination of Certain Measures Introduced under the Act on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in Connection with the Armed Conflict in the Territory of Ukraine and on Amendments to Certain Other Acts.

The following persons are eligible for free accommodation and meals:

  1. Persons holding a certificate of disability or a decision confirming a moderate or severe degree of disability, or an equivalent decision referred to in Article 5(1)–(2) of the Act of 27 August 1997 on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, or caregivers of such persons, provided they do not receive a caregiver’s allowance.
  2. Persons who have reached:
    • 60 years of age (women),
    • 65 years of age (men),
provided that they do not receive a Polish retirement pension, are not employed, and do not have adult descendants residing in the Republic of Poland who are legally obliged to provide maintenance.
  3. Pregnant women or persons raising a child up to 12 months of age, together with that child, upon presentation of the required supporting documents.
  4. Persons placed in foreign institutional alternative care.
  5. Persons discharged directly from hospital, following hospitalization financed by the National Health Fund (NFZ) lasting at least seven days, until the circumstances that required hospitalization no longer exist.

Other persons (in particular single mothers with children) are required to pay a monthly accommodation fee covering the costs of their stay. The fee is payable in advance by the 5th day of each month.

The amount of the monthly fee is determined by the Management Board of the Pastoral Family Care Foundation, taking into account the individual circumstances of each person.

Every application and personal situation is assessed on an individual basis.
